Papara, 2026 march 19th
Dear golfers, members, and visitors,
As part of the ongoing improvement of our facilities and in preparation for the 2027 Games, we will soon be launching a major course rehabilitation program.
These technical and ambitious works are designed to offer you a higher-quality, more modern, and more enjoyable course to play.
Key improvements include:
• Creation of new tee boxes suited to all skill levels (with special attention to juniors and women);
• Improved drainage and leveling in key areas;
• Redesign and construction of bunkers to enhance play;
• Installation of cart paths;
• Installation of automatic irrigation for the greens;
• Development of new landscaping features, including a dry lake.
Work will begin on April 7, 2026, with an estimated duration through mid-August, and a possible extension to mid-September depending on weather conditions.
Course operations during construction:
• The short course will remain open throughout the duration of the work.
• Golf cart access will be permitted there for seniors (65 and over), following a marked route.
To optimize construction progress:
• The main course will be fully closed on weekdays for a period of six weeks to allow for material transport.
• During this time, the 18-hole course will remain open on weekends.
After this initial phase:
• Work will focus on holes 10 through 18:
→ Play will then be limited to holes 1 through 9 (both weekdays and weekends).
• Once this phase is completed:
→ Holes 1 through 9 will be closed,
→ And play will resume on holes 10 through 18.
Please note that access to the course will remain closely dependent on construction progress. Temporary closures may be implemented at any time to ensure the overall project schedule is maintained.
Member notice:
To account for the inconvenience caused, the facility will grant a complimentary
two-month extension on all annual memberships, applied at the next renewal.
Thank you for your understanding.
